Please consider the following checklist of some necessary things to do for your pet dog (not all points will apply to dogs specifically for showing and/or working).
1. Spay or Neuter you dog
2. Train your dog to be a good citizen
3. Properly groom your dog
4. Feed a high quality food
5. Exercise your dog
6. Treat your dog with dignity
7. Take your dog to the vet
8. Keep your dog safely contained
9. Commit to dog ownership
10. Love and spend time with your dog
Ten very easy things. If you cannot handle most of these 10 simple things, dog ownership is not for you.
Please consider the time and money and effort that goes into caring for a dog.
